have heard of this problem before...you need to get new batt's from your carrier as it is covered..also, is the batt having anytype of "swelling"? this is a sure sign of batt failure...good luck and cheers!

My family bought 3 Blackberry Pearl clip 8220 last year. One of them is mine. The batteries of these phones are suck and getting worse everyday. These batteries were charged in the afternoon, several hours latter the batteries ran out. The reception of the phones are worse than other phones (we still have same carrier - TMobile - for many years), I couldn't make call when I was sitting on the lobby sofa of building having 8 floors. This Sunday we will change new phones, that will cost us money. My favorite was Nokia, my siter and father favorites were Motorola and Samsung; we didn't have the problems with those phones. Blackberry must conduct a new research to correct those problems, otherwise, you will loose us - as your customers - forever.

My Bold gets like that as well the battery only last 10Hrs at most!!!
