mac stopped recognising my blackberry bold when using desktop manager
Hi,
I am having huge problems with desktop manager for the mac. it would recognise my bb on my mac just fine and then all of a sudden, just stopped. when i use the usb cable it just charges my phone and asked if I want to switch to mass storage. I have reinstalled the app several times, used a different usb port and even cable. can anyone please help?

Hi people! Thanks for the replies! I found the solution! The phone was basically charging only when plugged in. So I deleted the desktop manager COMPLETELY from the mac and reinstalled it and worked!
Try forcing the handset to never go to Mass storage mode. I have seen many issues with that on Macs.
Go to Options.
Go to Memory.
Under 'Auto Enable Mass Storage...' Change it to NO.
That should solve it.
...mine stopped in the middle of the sync when it got to syncing Media; the problem was the settings for enabling Mass Storage mode when connected in the BB itself (my wife and myself have Bold 9700s). After messing with this setting it synced successfully.
