*Remarkable* improvement in picture quality.... : )

Had one of those "well, duh" moments this afternoon. My wife has a Pearl Flip, and she mentioned that it takes awful pictures. Now, I know it's not the most high-end camera in the world, but 'awful' seemed a little harsh.

So I took a look at her BlackBerry. And in 30 seconds I provided her with a remarkable improvement in picture quality. Much sharper, better contrast, and better color.

I cleaned the lens. : )

I think lots of people forget that we handle our BlackBerry so much, we are always touching the camera lens, so there is lots of oil or whatnot. I took a kleenex, folded it so that it made a little point, sprayed the point with eyeglass cleaner, and wiped the lens. Then dried it off with a dry part of the same kleenex.

I should charge her for my services. But I don't think I will be able to get away with that. ; )
