connect to desktop manager
Hi, can anyone help me ? i had bought the storm last year but still unable to connect to the blackberry@desktop manager. the box "b4 u begin, verify that your current blackberry is connect to your computer". This USB cable was not in the package and service provider said just any USB cable that can insert into the device will do. But this cable that I used can only charge my battery and it cannot b connect to the desktop manager and therefore i have not fully utilised the functions that what blackberry user normally did. where to get the correct cable ? and what is that call ? thanks
I'm not sure I understand the part about the cable only being able to charge the battery. I think you're talking about the wall charger.
Ok, you'll need to pick up a USB to microUSB cable. then you can connect the phone to the computer and it will charge that way. But don't use it as a full time charger. It's best to use the USB cable as a temp/quick charge if you need it.
Have you installed the Desktop manager software to your computer? If not, it's best to have done that first. Then when you connect your phone to the computer, then you will have full access to updates and such for your phone.
