?Sending Bluetooth?

What does it mean when it asks if I want to send things in through bluetooth?

There are items that you can transfer t another phone by using a bluetooth connection (wireless connection). In order to do so, you first need to "pair" your phone with the other device whether it be a laptop, cell phone, or other device. Here is a site that provides generic instructions (http://www.bluetooth.com/Bluetooth/Products/Devices/Generic_Pairing_Instructions.htm) if not refer to your blackberry manual.

For example, if you had a picture you wanted to send me via bluetooth, the assumption I will take is that our phones have ben paired before. When you select the picture to send via bluetooth then you select me as the contact and send it to me wirelessly. This only works if I am near you. Usually I believe anywhere between 30 to 50 ft is the max range.

Not sure if you are familiar with Bluetooth but here is a small crash course. A bluetooth connection is similar to that of a wifi spot. But in this case believe it or not it is called a PAN (Personal Area Network) to trasnfer items such as pictures, documents, music, contacts and so on.

Phew.. Sorry, I am a nerd and get carried away. Hope this helps if not send me a message.
