Blackberry ID

Hi, I have been on holiday for about 6 weeks and haven't used my ID for that period of time. Then now, tried to reactivate my e-mail alerts and was unable to log in. Had to create a new user name, but still can't log in... Upgraded my phone's software as well, but nothing happened again.. Can you help?
