Msn Messenger does not work :(

Hi, can anyone tell me why, after downloading Windows Live, when I want to log in, it says:"Service not enabled for this handset"? I have a BB Curve 8520. I would like to use msn messenger on wifi. (not through my provider). Is this possible? Any help will be appreciated, Thanks so much.
