I have the 9700 and have a problem with the usb cable where when connected to the computer does not show as charging my phone but when connected to my car charger it works. Don't understand please help. Thank you.

Does the phone show up as recognized when you attach it to the computer and Desktop Manager?
You should really never use the USB cord to charge unless it's a dire emergency. It's not as powerful a charge coming from the USB as it is coming from a wall charger.
Always charge via wall or the car.
